Stormwater Construction

NARDI Construction, Inc. was one of the general contractors selected to provide General Contracting services for the Clean Water Partnership (CWP) in 2015. This is a public / private partnership between Prince Georges County and Corvias. The CWP delivers functional and sustainable Stormwater retrofit projects throughout Prince George’s County. The program is committed to supporting local small businesses, Prince George’s County residents, schools, non-profits and others in an effort to clean up the waters and beautify the county. NARDI’s scope of work within this program includes construction estimating, project planning, value engineering, coordination with the CWP and other entities and construction of the ponds and facilities. Each of the Corvias projects also has Target Class requirements (MBE, CBB and/or CBSB) and Prince George’s County Resident Man Hour goals.

To date, NARDI has been awarded 34 projects for a total construction cost of over $22 Million. Projects have involved micro-bioretention facilities, bioretention filters, sand filters, pocket pond facilities, wet pond facilities and swales. Treatment areas have ranged in size from .90 to 45 acres of previously untreated stormwater runoff.
